To be completely honest, I’ve never been all that prone to bouts of serious sweating. Don’t get me wrong, I sweat as much as the next guy, but if we’re talking, like, disturbing amounts of perspiration here, I’ve got to plead ignorance. (Don’t get it twisted—my genetic makeup is plenty fucked up. I wouldn’t wish my bodily problems on my own worst enemy.) That being said, to all my heavily perspiring peers: I feel your pain. Some of my closest friends sweat buckets like nobody’s business, and guess what? There’s no shame in that.
(Incidentally, is there a word for someone who sweats an inordinate amount, e.g. “Wow, that dude is shvitzing like crazy, and it’s not even that hot out. He must be a really heavy…sweater?” Shit, that can’t be right. Can someone please confirm if the same term you’d use to refer to your coziest cardigan can also be used to describe your sweatiest friend? We’re getting into serious galaxy-brain territory here, and I’m about it.)
Folks, if you’re the type to sweat profusely and figure, “Eh, it happens,” you might not be the most inclined to slather on antiperspirant, but you definitely don’t want to stink. So invest in some proper deodorant. Sure, right now no one’s going to, like, smell you through the computer, but that doesn’t mean you should suddenly go days without using deodorant because you no longer have to worry about some poor soul catching a whiff of your pits on a crowded subway car. Don’t be that guy.
Sweating is one of your body’s most important means of managing internal temperatures and stress levels, and the right deodorant will go a long way in making sure you always smell fresh and clean—even when you don’t feel it. From all-natural options to drug-store stalwarts and everything in between, here are 15 of the best to buy right now.

(Chalk it up to one of life’s great ironies, or the fact that Tom Ford’s sweat probably smells a hell of a lot sweeter than yours.)
