Extraordinary image of shark in heart-shaped school of fish wins drone photo award

The winners of this year’s Drone Photo Awards have been announced as part of the Siena Awards Festival – offering an array of striking images showing the world from above.
The overall winner was declared to be an aerial shot by Australian photographer Jim Picôt that shows a school of salmon forming a heart shape while evading a hungry shark.
It was selected as the overall best photo from entries in nine categories – including nature, sports and urban architecture – submitted from 126 countries.
