EHRC – Entries Open for the New Look FIA European Historic Rally Championship

Entries for the 2021 FIA European Historic Rally Championship are now open, with competitors being invited to enter for the upcoming season at

The 2021 season will herald a new dawn for historic rallying with the update of title from the FIA European Historic Sporting Rally Championship to the FIA European Historic Rally Championship, along with a new look logo to emphasise this change.

John Naylor, President of the FIA Historic Motor Sport Commission said: “The FIA is pleased to reveal a refresh in the name and logo for Europe’s most prestigious historic rally championship.  The simplified name reflects the importance of the championship in the historic motor sport world by making it easier to understand.  The new logo is more than a refresh, it brings it more up to date.

“With no championship rounds held in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it is good to look forward to a fresh start in 2021.  At the present time the pandemic is far from over in Europe and we will continue to monitor the situation carefully.

“We would like to invite all competitors to visit the FIA website and register online for the 2021 season.”

Following a request by the Real Federación Española de Automovilismo, the 69 Rally Costa Brava, which was due to be the opening round of the EHRC on the 12/13 March, will now move to the 19/20 November.  The request was made due to the ongoing situation with regards to the Covid-19 restrictions on holding sporting events in Spain.
