Adele has won the 2023 Grammy Award for Best Pop Solo Performance for her song “Easy on Me.” The composition was nominated alongside Bad Bunny’s “Moscow Mule,” Doja Cat’s “Woman,” Harry Styles’ “As It Was,” Lizzo’s “About Damn Time,” and Steve Lacy’s “Bad Habit.”
Adele got nominated for a string of 2023 Grammy Awards: 30 was nominated in the Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album categories, while “Easy on Me” got nods for Song of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best Music Video. The Best Pop Solo Performance win is Adele’s first victory at the 2023 Grammys.
Elsewhere at the 2023 Grammys, Beyoncé is up against Adele; it’s the first time that both artists have been nominated since 2017, when they released their respective albums Lemonade and 25. This year, Beyoncé’s Renaissance and Adele’s 30 have both been nominated for Album of the Year, with the artists’ respective songs “Break My Soul” and “Easy on Me” competing for Song of the Year and Record of the Year.
