Where to Buy Our Favorite Sunglasses From the Golden Globes Red Carpet

Christopher Polk/NBC

There were a lot of sunglasses on the Golden Globes red carpet this year. There were a lot of sunglasses during the actual ceremony, for that matter. While we can’t quite explain the latter situation—everyone wanted to see if they’ve got enough of a Jack Nicholson/Cory Feldman vibe to make it work?—we can always endorse the wearing of good sunglasses when the sun is actually shining. And thanks to the influx of eyewear, there were some seriously stylish shades on display. Here are five of our favorites, and where to buy them right now.

Brad Pitt

What can we say? The guy knows how to rock a pair of sunglasses. This isn’t the first time he’s busted out this particular pair for the red carpet, and we hope it won’t be the last.

Taika Waititi

This, right here, is what you call “cool guy energy.” Not only does Waititi look great in a mustache, he manages to defy the odds and actually pull off a black dress shirt. The sunglasses certainly don’t hurt.

Noah Baumbach

The man behind Marriage Story has a reserved vibe that’s punctuated by notes of effortless cool. Just check out the piping on his jacket, the slight flop of the bow tie, and, of course, those squared-off sunglasses.

Taron Egerton

Playing Elton John doubtless gave Egerton a little extra confidence in the eyewear department. Case in point: these smaller, round-framed ones. They’re a little intimidating at first, but worn with confidence, they completely change the look (in this case, for the better).

Joaquin Phoenix

The guy whose speech none of us quite understood last night didn’t mess around with his look, either. The slim, shawl-collar tux is as classic as they come, and the sunglasses are equally timeless. (They are also, it goes without saying, incredibly stylish.)
