The ICRC has been present in Sudan since 1978 helping people affected by the conflict in Darfur, Blue Nile and South Kordofan, and promoting International Humanitarian Law.
In 2019, the ICRC provided seeds, tools and food to people in Tawila in North Darfur, Jebel Mara in South Darfur, and Rokero and Golo in Central Darfur. Our teams also vaccinated thousands of animals in Dar Al-Salam Umbaru and Kornoi in North Darfur and Garsila Nertiti in Central Darfur.
