The FIA University continues its commitment to empower Member Clubs. Following the successful delivery of the FIA University Emerging Leaders and Senior Executive Programmes, it proudly reports the success of its flagship courses: the Certificate in Motorsport Leadership and Management and the Certificate in Modern Sport Governance. Launched respectively in June and October 2023, these courses have seen an overwhelming response with over 250 individuals actively enrolled. Developed and delivered by the FIA, theyare offered to Members at no cost.
The Certificate in Motorsport Leadership and Management is a comprehensive 3-hour online programmedesigned to support the next generation of Motorsport Leaders and Managers. Covering topics such as the Global Motorsport Framework, Club Governance, and Leadership, and Sport Development, this course aims to equip individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge.
On the other hand, the Certificate in Modern Sport Governance offers a 1-hour online learning session paired with a 1-hour reflective activity. This course is tailored to assist Clubs in understanding the principles of good governance and applying them in FIA Member Clubs.
Since the launch, over 250 individuals have already enrolled, benefiting from these transformative certificates.

Save the Date for FIA University’s Inaugural Graduation Ceremony
In a significant milestone, the first cohort of graduates from the Certificate in Motorsport Leadership and Management and the Certificate in Modern Sport Governance will be celebrated at the inaugural Graduation Ceremony. The ceremony will be held during the week of the FIA Annual General Assembly in Baku, Azerbaijan, on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at 17:30 Azerbaijan Standard Time at the JW Marriott Absheron.
The event will not only recognise the achievements of the graduates but also highlight participants in the FIA University Emerging Leaders Programme and FIA University Senior Executive Programme. A presentation for each program will precede a festive drinks reception. All are welcome to attend and join in celebrating the success of the 50 graduates.
