Green Day have shared the new song “Dilemma,” the third preview of their new album, Saviors. The single comes with a music video directed by Ryan Baxley. In the clip, which begins in black and white and ends in color, Green Day singer Billie Joe Armstrong drinks heavily at a show. Watch the video below.
“‘Dilemma’ was one of those songs that was kind of easy to write because it was so personal to me,” Armstrong remarked in a press release. “We’ve seen so many of our peers struggle with addiction and mental illness. This song is all about the pain that comes from those experiences.”
“Dilemma” follows Green Day’s Saviors singles “The American Dream Is Killing Me” and “Look Ma, No Brains!” The new album, which follows 2020’s Father of All…, is out January 19. Beginning in May 2024, Green Day will go on a huge tour in support of Saviors.
