Andrew Tate has said he has requested an emergency visit to the UK from Romania to visit his mother, who has suffered a heart attack.
A spokesperson for Tate and his brother, Tristan, said: “It is with heavy hearts that we share the urgent news that the mother of Andrew and Tristan suffered a sudden heart attack this afternoon and was immediately rushed to the hospital.
“The situation is ongoing, and at this stage, it is our understanding that she will be undergoing emergency surgery. Her discharge from the hospital is contingent on the success of this critical procedure.
“The brothers kindly request privacy and consideration from the public and media as they navigate through these uncertain moments. They are profoundly grateful for the support and understanding from friends, colleagues, and well-wishers.
“In light of this critical and devastating situation, Andrew and Tristan are hopeful that the court will expedite their request to temporarily leave the country to be with their mother and support her during this challenging time.”
Tate is currently being kept in Romania as he awaits trial on human trafficking and rape charges.
