Off the back of a bumper year behind their beloved hit single “Super Shy,” NewJeans are back with a festive collection of 12 remixes and instrumentals. Among them are a bluegrass version of their song “Hurt” that has to be heard to be believed. Conway the Machine & Wun Two: Palermo [Vinyl Digital]
Buffalo rapper Conway the Machine teams up with German producer Wun Two on their debut collaboration, Palermo. The 10-track record pairs Conway’s rubbery flow with Wun Two’s dark and woozy beats, fit for a lo-fi, cult noir flick. Guest MCs Kndrx and Goosebytheway also appear on the album, which is dotted with Italian samples.

AyooLii: Mindstate of Luxury [self-released]
Milwaukee rapper and one-man “Shmackin Town” welcoming committee AyooLii is back this week with another new project to add to his prolific release catalog. AyooLii’s self-released Mindstate of Luxury isn’t his first or even second album this year and features eight new tracks with no features. Richard Reed Parry: The Iron Claw (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) [A24 Music]
Arcade Fire’s Richard Reed Parry returns to film scoring, this time with an original soundtrack for the A24 wrestling drama The Iron Claw. The film primarily focuses on the true story of Kevin and Kerry Von Erich—played by Zac Efron and Jeremy Allen White, respectively—as they navigate family trauma and the rocky landscape of 1980s professional wrestling. The score follows Parry’s Eileen score, released this month.

Bun B & Statik Selektah: Trillstatik 3 [Showoff]
The latest installment in Texas staple Bun B’s series of live recordings with producer Statik Selektah arrives almost a year after Trillstatik 2 with an equally exuberant spirit. Recorded just the other day during a roughly 14-hour session in New York, the album features a lot of collaborators, including Paul Wall, Benny the Butcher, Method Man, Boldy James, and Smoke DZA. Statik Selektah produced all the beats, and Surya Botofasina features on keys.

G’s Us: What Them Dogs Don’t Know They Know [Ruby Yacht]
Underground rap favorites R.A.P. Ferreira and AJ Suede unite as G’s Us. They previewed their inaugural full-length, What Them Dogs Don’t Know They Know, with “Just Chomp,” “Universe,” and “Skin Glowing.” Steel Tipped Dove produced and mixed the album, which has guest spots from Blu, Randal Bravery, and Brightboy. The album follows R.A.P. Ferreira’s 5 to the Eye With Stars and AJ Suede’s Reoccuring Characters.

Este Haim & Christopher Stracey: Anyone But You (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) [Madison Gate]
Haim sister Este worked with Christopher Stracey—of Fingernails, Manodrome, and War Pony—on the soundtrack for the new romantic comedy Anyone But You, starring Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell. The Will Gluck–directed flick follows Bea (Sweeney) and Ben (Powell), who, after a one-night stand, wind up at the same destination wedding, where they pretend to be a couple despite hating each other. Este Haim has previously composed for films like You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah, Do Revenge, and Cha Cha Real Smooth.

Munch Lauren: Munchy Clause EP [Die Rich Inc]
Milwaukee rapper Munch Lauren has spent 2023 putting out EPs themed around their month of release. He started things off in January with New Year, New Bag, and has continued with More Than Luck (March), April Fool, Tricks & Treats (October), and more.
