Five people, including a child, have died in a guesthouse fire in Romania.
The General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations said emergency services rushed to the scene early on Tuesday, out in the village of Tohani in Prahova county.
In a statement, they said 26 people were staying at the guesthouse when the blaze started.
At around midday, the emergency authorities confirmed the deaths of the fourth and fifth victims, and sent search and rescue teams to find five missing people.
It was not immediately clear if the additional two dead were among those listed as missing.
Emergency authorities also said 18 people managed to escape the blaze and two of them were being treated for burns.

At around 12.45pm, the fire was extinguished, while authorities continued to search for missing persons.
The affected area was about 1,000 square metres (10,800 square ft).

There was no indication as to what caused the blaze.
