Taylor Swift Wins 13th Grammy, Announces New Album The Tortured Poet’s Department

During her Grammys acceptance speech for Best Pop Vocal Album, Taylor Swift announced that her next album, titled The Tortured Poet’s Department, will arrive on April 19. Check out the album art via Swift’s X account below, as well as a handwritten note teasing the project.

Swift’s album Midnights picked up the win for Best Pop Vocal Album over fellow nominees Olivia Rodrigo’s Guts, Ed Sheeran’s , Miley Cyrus’ Endless Summer Vacation, and Kelly Clarkson’s Chemistry. U2’s Bono presented the award to Swift remotely from the Sphere in Las Vegas. The trophy marks Swift’s 13th Grammy, as she pointed out during her acceptance speech. 13 is Swift’s lucky number.

Taylor Swift:

And so I enter into evidence
My tarnished coat of arms
My muses, acquired like bruises
My talismans and charms
The tick,
tick,
tick
of love bombs
My veins of pitch black ink
All’s fair in love and poetry…Sincerely,
The Chairman of the Tortured Poets Department
