Nathaniel Ritchie, the Injury Reserve and By Storm rapper who’s long gone by the name Ritchie With a T, has announced his debut solo album. The Arizona musician, now using the moniker RiTchie will release Triple Digits [112] on April 5. A new preview of the LP is “Dizzy,” RiTchie’s new song featuring Aminé. Earlier this month, RiTchie dropped his debut solo song, “RiTchie Valens,” with a music video that followed him wandering alone through the desert on a hot day.
RiTchie co-founded Injury Reserve in 2013 with producer Parker Corey and rapper Stepa J. Groggs, and the group released its self-titled studio debut in 2019. The following year, Groggs died at the age of 32. Injury Reserve released one more album, September 2021’s By the Time I Get to Phoenix, before RiTchie and Corey retired the band’s name and chose to continue as By Storm.
