Bright Eyes, Sunny Day Real Estate, and Cap’n Jazz have been tapped to headline Best Friends Forever Festival, a new music festival coming to the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center from October 11 to 13. Unwound, the Jesus Lizard, the Dismemberment Plan, Built to Spill, American Football, Karate, and Rainer Maria will also play the event’s inaugural edition, which focuses on emo, indie rock, and post-hardcore.
The Best Friends Forever lineup also includes Algernon Cadwallader, Pinback, the Get Up Kids, Jawbox, Braid, the Anniversary, Piebald, and the Murder City Devils. A handful of younger bands are slated to perform, too, including Mannequin Pussy, Fiddlehead, Home Is Where, Momma, La Dispute, Foxing, Drug Church, and Pool Kids, among others.
Best Friends Forever Festival takes place across three days and features two stages. Pre-sale tickets to the all-ages event go on sale this Wednesday, February 28, at 10 a.m. Pacific. General on-sale tickets follow on Thursday, February 29, at 10 a.m. Pacific.
