If there’s one thing Apple TV+ lacks, it’s a catalog of classic shows and movies. Apple has built up a decent library of shows and movies, but nearly all of it is original content. That’s not the case with its competitors, which all have sizable libraries of popular shows and movies that people enjoy watching over and over again.
For a limited time, Apple TV+ is expanding its back catalog to include more than 50 top movies for all subscribers. Just go to the “Limited Time: Great Movies on Apple TV+” page and select the movie you’d like to watch. You can also search for one of the movies below in the Apple TV store:
- 21 Jump Street
- 300
- The Accountant
- American Sniper
- Argo
- Bad Boys
- Black Hawk Down
- The Bodyguard
- Captain Phillips

Apple also added Ridley Scott’s “Napoleon” for streaming today following a three-month stint in theaters.
It’s not clear how long these movies will be available but since they were added on March 1, it stands to reason that they will remain free throughout the entire month. You can sign up for Apple TV+ and get two months free through March 8.
