Our Verdict
Quality and performance have their price. With the Anker MagGo Power Bank 10K you get one of the fastest and most advanced MagSafe powerbanks.

With the MagGo Power Bank (10K), Anker implemented the new Qi2 charging standard. The nice thing for iPhone users is that nothing changes due to Qi2’s compatibility with MagSafe. This also applies to the charging power, which is correspondingly high at 15 watts–Qi1 charges iPhones at 7.5 watts.
But Anker has packed even more into the compact 10,000 mAh power bank: an easy-to-read display showing the capacity percentage, the remaining battery life, and the charging time. Additional symbols such as an arrow for charging a connected device or a lightning bolt when the power bank is charging complete the informative display. A small stand is also integrated, indispensable when watching videos while charging.

In our test, the 10,000 mAh capacity was sufficient for charging an iPhone 15 from zero to 100 percent once, and then from zero to 70 percent after that. After 30 minutes, the Power Bank added 38 percent to the phone. Impressive. The USB-C port outputs power at 27 watts, which added 35 percent on an 11-inch iPad Pro and 23 percent on an M1 MacBook Air.
An AI algorithm with a 32-bit processor aims to ensure a high charging speed with the lowest possible heat generation. The Power Bank 10K is charged via the integrated USB-C port with a maximum of 20 watts. A suitable USB-C charging cable is included, but a travel bag isn’t.
The display provides a lot of information as to the status of the charger.

Should you buy the Anker MagSo Power Bank (10K)?
Qi2 is the new charging standard for wireless charging–but since iPhones have MagSafe, the benefits of Qi2 aren’t really new to iPhone users. With the Anker MagGo Power Bank (10K), you get a reliable power bank that’s well thought out. The stand is a practical extra and the display is a plus point that you won’t want to do without after a short period of use. The heat development during wireless charging is limited and thanks to the 27-watt USB-C connection, the Power Bank can also be used with the iPad and MacBook. The Power Bank is at the upper-end price-wise of the 10,000 mAh class, but you get state-of-the-art technology with twice the charging capacity of most competitors.
