Back in 2000, Ma San San Maw, who lives in Kawkaraik in Kayin State, Myanmar, supported her parents by selling bamboo sticks to make sticky rice snacks.
“It was just like other days – my friends and I went up the hills to collect bamboo. That’s when I stepped on a landmine,” she says.
