All FIA Member Clubs can now apply to the 2024 President’s Awards
The third edition of the President’s Awards for 2024 has now been launched.
The annual Awards are split into three categories, with each category winner receiving a financial contribution of €10,000.
The categories are:
- FIA President’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) award: This recognises outstanding commitment to diverse and inclusive practices that foster equitable, sustainable and measurable change.
- FIA President’s Climate Action Award: This celebrates innovation, mitigation and actions that help both Club members, and the wider community, to tackle environmental challenges.
- FIA President’s Road Safety Award: This spotlights the most effective action by an FIA Member Club to improve road safety and create a culture of safe mobility, aiming to reduce the number of road fatalities.
Speaking about the Awards, FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem said: “Building on the success of last year, I am delighted to announce the third edition of the FIA President’s Awards. These Awards aim to acknowledge the strength and successes of our community, and our continuing culture of innovation.”
All Award applications will be reviewed in Stage 1. During Stage 2, the team will acknowledge and confirm each category Award winner.
In 2023, the President’s Awards recognised Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil-Club (ADAC) for their achievements in Climate Action, the Automobile Club of Moldova (ACM) in Road Safety and Motorsport South Africa in Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI).
The winners will be announced at the Prize-Giving Ceremony in Kigali, Rwanda in December.
