Last week, Foxing emailed Pitchfork to invite the staff to a press conference in the emo quartet’s native St. Louis. Unfortunately, no staffer could make it to the event, and, from the looks of its video recap, nobody at all from the press attended. So it went unknown until now that the band has announced a new self-titled album, which comes out, via Grand Paradise, on September 13. Footage from the poorly attended press conference is featured in the music video for the new song “Greyhound.” Watch the visuals, and see the group’s upcoming tour dates, below.
Foxing’s guitarist, Eric Hudson, produced and mixed Foxing. He’s joined, as a performer, on the album by vocalist Conor Murphy, drummer Jon Hellwig, and bassist Brett Torrence. Foxing follows the 2021 album Draw Down the Moon.
