The five-day programme is part of the FIA’s research, education and training offering.
The FIA University has hosted the first day of its Advanced Leadership programme.
30 middle and senior managers from 18 FIA Clubs are set to attend the event, which will be held over five days between Chamonix and Geneva.
Designed to improve leadership and management across the federation, the programme’s first day included sessions an FIA Executive talk (from Secretary General for Sport Valerio Iachizzi and Secretary General for Mobility Jacob Bangsgaard), guidance on lobbying and government relation from Director of Communications Luke Skipper, and a discussion of Sustainability and D&I with Director of Sustainability and D&I Sara Mariani.
The rest of the week’s programme will feature sessions from ESSEC, University of Bath, Birkbeck and Stanford professors, as well as talks from the FIA’s own executives.
The programme is hosted by the FIA’s research, education and training function, the FIA University. The FIA University aims to drive knowledge, learning and collaboration across the federation, and alongside key stakeholders within the FIA’s network. Expanding and developing the FIA University was one of FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem’s key manifesto commitments ahead of his election in 2021.
