Helena Hauff is coming back with a new EP. Multiply Your Absurdities follows 2018’s Qualm and is the German producer’s proper debut for Tresor, following her 2020 mix for the Berlin label and club, Kern, Vol. 5. Listen to a single, “Humanoid Fruit,” below.
The new song originally soundtracked the artist and filmmaker Bahar Noorizadeh’s Teslaism, described in a press release as “a 3rd person musical racing game featuring Elon Musk and his self-driving car/lover and life coach, as they drive towards a shareholder meeting in a post-gamified Berlin landscape.”
Teslaism, Tresor added in the press release, stems from skepticism about a new era after Post-Fordism: “an upgrade to the system of production and consumption predicated on advanced storytelling, financial worldbuilding, and imagineering ‘the look of the future.’”
