Autechre have shared a new batch of live recordings in their AE series. Sets recorded in 12 cities in Europe and Australia—including Paris, Barcelona, Lisbon, Madrid, Sydney, and Melbourne—make up the set, amounting to some 14 hours of music. Although the record is titled AE_2022-, a publicist notes that the tracks were made in 2023 and 2024. Pick up the record at the Warp store.
The English electronic duo launched the AE series in 2015; the last edition, released in 2020, comprised seven soundboard recordings. That came two years after their mammoth, eight-hour collection of NTS sessions. Their last studio albums were 2020’s Sign and Plus.
