Richard Russell has announced a new album from his Everything Is Recorded project. On Temporary, the producer and XL Recordings founder is joined by Florence Welch, Alabaster dePlume, Kamasi Washington, Nourished by Time, and more. The album is out February 28, and will feature the previously released Bill Callahan and Noah Cyrus duet “Porcupine Tattoo.” Scroll down to see the full tracklist.
Russell has also shared the album’s second single, “Losing You,” which includes contributions from Sampha, Laura Groves, Yazz Ahmed, and Jah Wobble, and comes with a video directed by Ed Morris. Watch it below.
The last Everything Is Recorded album, Friday Forever, came out in 2020. Over the last year, Russell has shared a series of album-length compositions named for the seasonal solstices and equinoxes; he also contributed production to Peter Gabriel’s latest album, 2023’s I/O.
