A man has been arrested over an explosion in Donegal which killed 10 people in 2022.
A man in his 60s voluntarily presented himself at Dundalk police station in relation to the blast at a petrol station on October 7, John J Rice & Company solicitors, the law firm claiming to represent him, said.
Gardai (Irish police) said the man has been arrested for alleged offences contrary to the Non-Fatal Offences Against the Person Act 1997.
The investigation is being co-ordinated from Milford garda station, where an incident room has been established.
Ten people, including a five-year-old girl and her father, were killed in the explosion in the village of Creeslough. At the time, police said it appeared to be “a tragic accident”.
