The FIA today confirms that Jonathan Refoy has been appointed to the role of Chief Communications Officer.
Jonathan will join the FIA on January 20, 2025, and will be responsible for media relations, as well as Presidential, Sports, Mobility, FIA member, internal and digital communications.
Jonathan has over 20 years’ experience in corporate communications and campaigning in a range of sectors. He joins from Interserve Group, where he served on the Executive Committee as Group Corporate Affairs Director, leading the company’s global media and government relations, as well as internal, transformation and digital communications.
Prior to this he held a number of senior communications roles in the oil and gas sector at Amec Foster Wheeler plc and in the retail sector at Tesco plc and Walmart Inc. He also led communications for the US-based defence and infrastructure contractor, CH2M in Europe, who were the delivery partner for the Olympic Delivery Authority, London 2012 Olympic Games.
Jonathan will report to General Manager, Alberto Villarreal and be based in the FIA’s London office.
