Sasami has released a new song with Clairo. Co-produced by Sasami and Rostam, “In Love With a Memory” is the latest taste of her forthcoming album, Blood on the Silver Screen, following the previously shared singles “Honeycrash,” “Slugger,” and “Just Be Friends.” The track comes with a sweltering, Western-inspired music video directed by Jay Swuen. “I grew up going to Japanese or Korean ‘noraebang’ private karaoke rooms with my mom, who was secretly the most incredible singer,” Sasami said in a press statement. “That’s the feeling I was tapping into when I started writing ‘In Love With a Memory’, and there is a very timeless but relevant crooning feeling imbued in the song that I think was perfectly reflected by the production that Rostam and I orchestrated together.”
Blood on the Silver Screen is out March 7. Sasami, today, has also announced a North American tour in support of the album, which will kick off on April 19 at Los Angeles’ Lodge Room and wrap up on May 24 at BottleRock in Napa, California. Find all of Sasami’s tour dates below.
