Charli XCX Wins Best Dance Pop Recording for “Von Dutch” at 2025 Grammys

Charli XCX has won Best Dance/Electronic Recording for “Von Dutch” at the 2025 Grammys. The singer collects the trophy for the Brat track ahead of competitors Ariana Grande (“Yes, And?), Billie Eilish (“L’Amour de Ma Vie [Over Now Extended Edit]”), Madison Beer (“Make You Mine”), and Troye Sivan (“Got Me Started”).

Last year’s Best Dance Pop Recording winner was Kylie Minogue, whose “Padam Padam” claimed the category in its inaugural year. This year, it has served as an occasion to extend further opportunities to several Recording Academy favorites.

Charli XCX became an overnight household name in her breakout year at this year’s awards, picking up eight nominations, quadrupling her lifetime tally. Ariana Grande and Billie Eilish, meanwhile, are now part of the furniture, with 50 nominations between them, although a win tonight would have been only Grande’s third. Only Madison Beer and Troye Sivan are relative Grammys underdogs: “Got Me Started” earned Sivan just his third lifetime nomination, while “Make You Mine” gave Beer her second. Each is still waiting for their first statuette.
