Daniel Nigro Wins Producer of the Year, Non-Classical, at 2025 Grammys

Daniel Nigro has taken the Producer of the Year, Non-Classical, trophy at the 2025 Grammys, ahead of Alissia, Dernst “D’Mile” Emile II, Ian Fitchuk, and Mustard. With recent credits including close collaborations with Olivia Rodrigo and Chappell Roan, the Long Island producer triumphed in his second consecutive year of nomination in the category. His first-ever Grammy win was back in 2022, for his work on Rodrigo’s Best Pop Vocal Album winner Sour.

In winning the award, Nigro breaks the three-year winning streak of Jack Antonoff, whose fallow year in the category follows his string of hits for the likes of Taylor Swift and Lana Del Rey.
