Now an established annual event, the rally is held in a Time, Speed, and Distance (TSD) format and is open exclusively to women drivers over 18 years of age holding a valid driving licence. This year’s edition is expected to bring together over 300 participants in more than 100 vehicles.
The initiative supports the cause of women’s safety, a pressing issue in India amid rising concerns about attacks in public transport and the safety of women auto-rickshaw (Tuk Tuk) drivers. By creating visibility and awareness, the rally aims to empower women and encourage safer mobility across the country.
WIAA will oversee all operational logistics, including police permissions, traffic coordination, ambulance services, and towing assistance. The event forms part of the Association’s broader commitment to corporate social responsibility and inclusive mobility.
The rally carries a clear message through its motto: “Be Safe. Be Strong.”
